Application Instructions

Please follow these instructions carefully. We recommend either printing or keeping the instructions open in a new window while completing the application.

Handmade Arcade uses ArtCall.org, an online entry submission software, to manage applications. Payments will be processed through Stripe, a third party billing and processing agent. 

New in 2017! Handmade Arcade is offering two application options. Select one option:
  1. $240 Standard Vendor Space (8-by-8-foot display space with 8-by-2.5-foot table and 2 chairs and NO set-up restrictions)
  2. $150 Craft Corridor Vendor Space (limited number of smaller display space with 6-by-2.5-foot table and 2 chairs and WITH set-up restrictions and application requirements)
Note: Both application options will allow you to apply with a second applicant. 
 

STEP ONE: Login / Register at ArtCall.org

If you applied to Handmade Arcade in 2016, you should have an ArtCall.org account. Select the Login button and enter your email and password. If you do not remember your password, request a new one. 
  1. View and update your account information. Open your user profile by clicking your profile name or selecting "View Profile" from the user account menu My Applications. Select the Edit Profile Details button to update account information and complete new fields.
  2. Select an application option (Standard or Craft Corridor).
  3. Pay the non-refundable $10 registration fee through Stripe. 
  4. Click the Update User Profile button to save changes.
If you did not apply to Handmade Arcade in 2016, select the Register button to create an ArtCall.org account. 
  1. Create your "User Profile" 
  2. Select an application option (standard or limited).
  3. Pay the non-refundable $10 registration fee through Stripe. 
  4. Save by clicking the Create Account button at the bottom of the page.

STEP TWO: Apply to Handmade Arcade
  1. From the "My Submitted Applications" page, click the Add New Application button.
  2. Choose a Category. 
  3. Choose a Sub-Category if applicable. If your work does not fit into one of the listed sub-categories, please select "General / Variety." 
  4. Application Title is a required ArtCall.org field. Please enter your name or your company name.
  5. Enter your URL (company website, Etsy shop, blog or social media page that shows your work).
  6. Describe your creative process and products. 
  7. Enter the price range of your products. This year, we'd also like to know the price of the majority of your products. Please follow format instructions.
  8. If you are applying with another vendor, complete the fields for Second Applicants. Important: Please include information about the second applicant's products/process and prices in the same fields in which you entered your information. 
  9. Click the Submit Entry Details button.

STEP THREE: Upload images
  1. From the "Add Entry Attachments" page, upload 3 images (JPG or PNG only). Prior to uploading images, please clearly label your files; for example: NameofCompany_kitchenwidget.jpg.
  2. VERY IMPORTANT: Due to the high volume of applications, it is critical that applicants include clear, well-lit, high-resolution photos that represent their work. If you are applying with a second applicant, there should be an image that represents each of your work. Applications without photos will not be considered. 
  3. Click the Complete & View Entry button to complete your application. 

HOORAY! You are finished!


You will receive an email confirmation that your application has been submitted.

ArtCall.org allows you to log in to your account to review, make edits or replace images up until the submission deadline at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, August 18, 2017. 
 

New in 2017! Craft Corridor at Handmade Arcade

Craft Corridor at Handmade Arcade 
Handmade Arcade is celebrating our grassroots history and mission by offering a new opportunity to EMERGING and RE-EMERGING craft artists with a limited number of smaller tables at the reduced price of $150. Craft Corridor applications will undergo the same jury process as standard full-price vendor applications.

Craft Corridor set-up details:
  • This is a smaller display space restricted to a 6-by-2.5-foot table and 2 chairs.
  • Additional display restrictions will be sent to accepted vendors.
  • Electricity will NOT be available in this section.
Craft Corridor applicants must meet the following requirements:
  1. You have never been a vendor at a juried craft fair OR you have not been a vendor at a juried craft fair in the last 5 years.
  2. You are not currently selling your wares in any brick-and-mortar stores.
  3. You will be part of the Handmade Arcade Street Team which includes distributing posters and postcards and posting to social media.
  4. You may NOT also apply to Handmade Arcade as a full-priced vendor. Double applicants will be disqualified in both applicant pools.

Submission end date is Friday, August 18, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. 
Late applications will not be accepted. No exceptions.
Applicants will be notified on September 20, 2017.
We are unable to answer inquiries regarding application status prior to sending final notifications. If you are having trouble with your application or are unsure if it went through, please email sponsor@handmadearcade.com. You will receive a reply within 48 hours.
